Pharmacy or Biomedical Science? watch

    Hi guys
I'm currently trying to choose between doing Pharmacy or Biomedical Science. From what I can see, I would find both courses very interesting, as would I find both jobs. I suppose I would enjoy hospital pharmacy more than being a scientist in a lab, although I would probably end up doing a phd with biomedical science and being a healthcare scientist in the nhs(if I did biomedical science).
Either way, I'd like to try to get to the top of the NHS Healthcare Scientists. I was also thinking about going into industry pharmacy though, and was wondering, if I went for the private sector, what Pharmacy salaries would be compared to Biomedical Sciences?
Also, if I did pharmacy, would I be able to later do phd's with biomedical science(if I did make the wrong decision) or just do any of the jobs which biomedical research lets you(immuniologist, toxicologist, clincal geneticist, haemotologist, microbiologist etc.)
On a side note, I would be staying in London, and so if I did pharmacy, I believe I'd only really have 3 options, one of which (Kingston+St.Georges), some people seem to have a bad view of on this forum. Why is this? Although I would prefer to go to either Kings of LSOP, I have heard the Kingston course is more than suffice and is more practical too?
    Thanks,
    Dani

Well I did! And I doubled my PhD stipend by doing one locum a week during my PhD. The ones who had done pure science degrees like B Med Sci were sick as pigs!
