Picking Love over a diet

I just spoke to My girl, we recently had an argument about this diet that she has been on for ages and that is not starting to kill her; her sking is going grey and her immune system is completely crap. She has always been telling Me that she Loves Me More Than Life, but when I now quite seriously asked to pick between Me and her diet, she said "I'm sorry baby...", and she even confirmed it...

I was crying pretty much all of the Weekend because of this, and she knows that; yet willing to do nothing about it, she woke up Yesterday calling Me an "ass-hole" because she woke up late to leave to her house.

What shall I do?

I really Love Her!!!!!

Okay, it sounds like she has an eating disorder. Firstly you need to understand that it's a mental problem. She's not choosing you over her diet, but something in her head is making her go crazy when it comes to food. I've been in a very similar situation, and I think I would have chosen my diet over my boyfriend :eek:

You need to support her. Do NOT ask her to choose. Making her upset will make it worse (it's not your fault though). Just try to get her to eat stuff, tell her she is too thin, tell her she is beautiful, compliment her, give her lots of love. I can try to help you if you want to ask me questions, your situation sounds very similar to the one I was in.

Talk to a doctor, if she won't do so yourself. They will know better what to do than anyone here.

No, please take that back or delete the post, the diet also comes from self-esteem problems, I want her to speak to some one, that is a member of the general public who has gone through a similar thing to tell her she is beautiful and that she does not need to be hurting her self the way she is doing

Try professional help then you 'idiot'.

It's no good her 'talking' to someone over the internet. It at least needs to be face to face. The internet can be and usually is very impersonal.
