No idea why they've gone down to flipping five. It's only a 32,000 allocation. Perhaps quite a few ST's are just waiting for the final?

Is this the best Malouda has ever played for Chelsea? He's been on the scoresheet quite a few times lately.

From Max, Bournemouth, via text to 81111: "The question is, should Drogba be starting against United if we have scored 24 goals in six games without him!?"
interesting point. i think when drogba's playing there's far too much emphasis on getting the ball to him for him to get the goals, whereas today the play has been far more effective without any real target man (so to speak). lampard has come back beautifully.

    So...

Home fixtures left are Bolton, Wigan and Stoke. That's got to be 9 points. We need 5-6 points away to United, Liverpool and Tottenham. It's difficult, yet doable.

Utd have enough quality to beat Bolton still. Utd are saving key players for us. No idea if Drogba should start. May be he can be on the bench because SAF might expect Drogba to play because it's a biggun.

Everyone knows Drogba will start [if fit] before we even enter that debate.

Yes but should Drogba start? We appear to have a winning formula right now. But if Ancelotti does not include him and we do not win, he will get the blame. If he does include him people will cite how many goals we've scored without him starting in the recent games and then criticise the decision. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Ancelotti could rest him and tell the media he still needs "recovery" from his injury last week...
