City pwned us in both games last season, not too confident about that fixture.

Glad to see that Benayoun is turning out to be a solid signing

They were actually really lucky at Stamford Bridge I thought. That scoreline didn't reflect the match. However, they have a pretty joker squad atm what with all their forwards crocked.

If I remember correctly we were a little unlucky at Eastlands, didn't Frank miss a penalty? I'm sure we'll have them though - they're obviously still not all sorted out... although then again Tevez does seem to have a knack of scoring against us.. ergh.

Mikel's long balls and A.Cole's crosses = goal frenzy

I'm hoping Ancelotti brings on Kakuta in the second half - would be nice to give him a bit more time after wednesday.

Brilliant stuff but the next 3 games will show what Chelsea are made of when they face 3 clubs that can actually muster a stiffer test.
At this rate, the league could be wrapped up pretty quick!

They've been our best players so far. Nice to see Ramires getting to show off a few of his other attributes after a defensive & busy task aganst West Ham too.

Would like to see Bruma get 20 min or so to get some match fitness ahead of Wed.

Keeps us reguarly updated with him in two languages. What a guy.

How **** was the referee by the way? Missed two obvious penalties, should qualify him to referee a CL knock out tie.

no, it's missing 3 obvious penalties that qualifies as refereeing a CL knockout tie.

3 or 4 in your case :mmm:

Lol another good call on Bruma mate :P.

Ramires was good I liked him. Ashley, Drogs and Malouda were deadly!

Strange how Malouda has gone from being bleedin' useless 2 seasons ago to probably our greatest attacking threat (minus the Drog of course..)

Five confirmed starters for tomorrow... Turnbull, Van Aanholt, Bruma, Kakuta & Sturridge. Other six should be more experienced ones, JT could get 45 minutes. Think we'll have a load of youngsters on the bench too.

Any of you got a season ticket at the Bridge?

As for the City game this weekend, really can't see us losing. City look dysfunctional right now.

Also looking forward to seeing the kids get some game time tomorrow.
