    That's a good sign.

    And that too.

Would love us a manager right about now, we could loose out on potential targets the longer this takes. Think we'll have Hiddink by Pre Season?

Looks good, but still want Hiddink in asap so he can sort out who he wants to sell/buy. If Carroll was rated about £35m, then I reckon £20m sounds about right for Sturridge and his current form.

Thing is, Santos want around £41m for Neymar, but it's progress atleast.

The problem was that Carroll was scoring goals for fun as first choice striker and was an England international at that time.

Sturridge is third or fourth choice and doesn't have the same standing/hype that Carroll had. Anything around the £10m mark would be a fair valuation.

True, I guess you could say different situations and different clubs. Chelsea couldn't offer Sturridge many chances due to Drogba, Kalou and Anelka.. Then when Torres arrived, it pretty much limited his chances. I would like to see Sturridge play more, whether it be at Chelsea or elsewhere. He has a lot of potiential and scored some pretty good goals at Bolton.

Don't know what Owen Coyle does at Bolton, but he's made some players loaned out to him from the big clubs into great players. Previously Wilshire and now Sturridge, quite an underated manager.

Didn't we bid £32 million last year and it got rejected?

In other news Didier Drogba got married yesterday if thats of any concern xD, whereas Ashley Young and Liam Ridgewell cancelled theirs lol.

This month of June needs to end then we'll know the club's situation D:

Hiddink is kind of proven at Chelsea though, he had a good run there didn't he?

Does anyone actually want Hiddink? I am not too sure how we will turn out - I'm scared if he brings the same attitude as Ancelotti - perhaps a little scared to try something new. We need new players in that team and quick - Hughes would be the better option for me. And as for strikers, Neymar will turn out good but I don't want a player that also wants to play for Real Madrid so bring in Lukaku - he actually wants to play for us! Sturridge needs to start regularly too and replace Malouda - I don't want to see the new manager taking Sturridge off for 2 bad games and playing Malouda for the rest of the season - Malouda, Anelka and Kalou just don't want it.
I think it's pretty safe to say that we all want Hiddink back from the previous comments.

Lakaku is a good option but he plays like Torres and Drogba, down the middle and no where else, Neymar gives variety and it's not that says he wants to play for RM, its his agent lol. He's said he'd like to play for Chelsea before.

    Edit: Champions League Semi Final
    FA Cup

That's what he did when he was caretaker manager

Can he lift all the players' confidence up and get them back to how they were though? I'm not so much with him but so be it.
I think he can - JT and Malouda have already expressed their desire to have in the club and say all the players respect him highly cause of what he did before. I think it was Mikel or Malouda who said he changed the team in those 4 months he was there and it was amazing. So I hope he comes soon sorts out the team, plays Sturridge for more than 1 game and uses maybe Kakuta in the hole? or McEacran, this kid must play.

Anyone got an idea if hes on a contract or nearing the end of one? Get him on a 10 year contract xD

Pretty sure he can, he did it when he was caretaker manager for Chelsea before. After really bad defeats, he reignited the passion that the Chelsea footballers had lost after consecutive losses under Scolari.

Well I think he's due to Turkey for another year, but he has a buy out clause of 4m, which I think Roman is willing to pay. In addition, I read that the Turkish Football Federation pretty much accepted the fact that Hiddink is going to leave.

Agreed. The other important point is that Sturridge has proved his potential now,and we need to bite the bullet and give him a go instead of Anelka or Malouda. He's quicker and seems like a good goalscoring threat; for god's sake, we'll never bring anyone through unless we actually give them game time, and with the new season approaching this is a perfect time!

    Woo

    http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/...r-loan-deal-at

At least it's a loan deal, would be good for the kid since we have 4 CB's (JT, DL, Alex, Bran) But would have loved him to stay and leave Ivanovic as the Right back and bring him in when needed as the 4th CB.

This is the third time im editing lol sorry.

Well.. Apart from that, the stories on Neymar, Lakuku and Pastore have seemed to become quiet, but things should change in a few weeks

    Dunno bout Alex tbh.

Modric sounds a nice buy, most assists last season so!

Lakaku, Neymar and Pastore would be a great trio to buy :P - COME ON Hiddink! Want the man in so we can see some rumours pick up and some new signings in. Tired of seeing United and Pool making the headlines. Damnit even Arsenal are gonna sign someone!
