Yeah. Belleti's slightly better, although both quality shots.

He'd score more at Chelsea because of our superior midfield but it won't happen.

Dunno about scoring more, if only football was that simple. I reckon we're not direct enough for him, personally. He'd find himself playing off of Drogba (like Anelka is now) and not get the chance to shine in front of goal.

Pointless anyway of course, because Torres would never come to Chelsea and he's a scrote face anyway

anyone else think it is fantastic that liverpools season is offically ruined. even if they get the uefa cup and a fouth place finish it won't be good enough. in fact it would be hillarious as they would have to be let into the uefa cup to defend there title in the same way they got into the uefa league in 2005, so the fouth place finish would not matter by their own logic

If they won the Europa League and got fourth they'd go into the Champions League Qualifying as usual. That's why Shakthar were in the Champions League this year.

Afraid not. Wouldn't mind drawing to a Yorkshire side in the FA Cup away since I live in County Durham at the moment.

Tribunal to set Sturridge's fee is today. Chelsea want to pay no more than £3.5m while Cuty apparently want £7m, so that points towards about £5m, the middle ground.

nope, it is the same logic they used to get in the champions league when they finished fifth. in fairness they are right that the champions should be in the competition but if they won they would have to go into again cuz it is the same principal they used in 2005.

The things is mate, they wouldn't...

I am pretty sure someone gave an example up top of Shakhtar winning the Europa League and then the next season they were in the Champions League.

If a team wins their league and the Europa Cup/League in the same season then they go into the Champions League, it's not a hard concept to grasp, really. Oh yeah, why not defend the Europa League and miss out on millions of pounds? FFS. The same applies if they finish in a CL place in their respective league.

yeah one rule for one league one for another. "waaa we didn't get in the champions league spots but we won it, please let us in." They would have to follow the same ******* logic for at least one season

Huh? What the hell are you on about? It's the same rule for all leagues. I'm not even a 'Pool fan, btw.

Liverpool winning the Europa League is not a foregone conclusion anyway.

    £3.5m plus add-ons for Sturridge.
