The game for all that missed it.

Ramires could have passed it for the 2nd goal :P

"Andre Villas-Boas has revealed he could sign two players in the next few weeks but warned that Chelsea will not overpay in the transfer market this month.

The London club have had a bid accepted by Bolton for England defender Gary Cahill, but personal terms are still proving a sticking point.

Speaking at today's William Hill Scottish Cup draw in Glasgow, Villas-Boas said: "Apart from a central defender, we might get one more player in but we're not sure yet."

Please let it be a proper winger.

    Not Krasic.

    Just a proper winger.

Kakuta has joined Dijon FC in Ligue 1 till the end of the season. Think AVB will use him next season? Seeing as this was Sturridge's breakthrough season and next season looks like McEachran's. Would he try them both?

Would be so happy if we signed a winger. Someone like Valbuena. I doubt he would cost that much either, think he'd be perfect for us.

Also, if we did get a winger, we could play, Mata in the hole, with two wingers behind Drog.

We've been lacklustre all season, the problem has been the same for pretty much exactly 12 months now, with the introduction of Mata and rampaging fullbacks being the only two major attempts to do anything about it.

    Please God, help us.

Haven't said anything about Napoli yet. I genuinely think we'll get smashed, they're precisely the sort of team we struggle against. I.e. quick, counter attacking, sides. Just look at what Liverpool did to us in that first half at the Bridge with Bellamy and Suarez on the break.

Lavezzi, Hamsik and Cavani will maul our fullbacks, hah. Unless we play Ivanovic at RB. Anyone know when he gets back?

Haven't seen Valbuena play... lots've rumours about someone bidding for Di Maria. Highly doubt we'd get him. Would be delish though.

We'll see how this goes transfer window ends. Don't really expect anything major. Tbh, I think McEachran and Torres would link up well. Beautiful passer. Probably our best one.

If they're good enough why not. Too bad his spell at bolton was disappointing, same for van aalholt at wigan. Tbh, I don't know whether ancelotti had sturridge in his plans, Would have thought that he'll try and use him as a striker and he'll still be behind torres and drogba in the pecking order. But sturridge would have been in the team after his spell at bolton.
Is mceachran going to swansea? I heard Brendan rodgers saying the deal will be completed in the next 48 hours. It would fit his style of play.

To be honest, he wasn't really that bad at man city, considering the likes of lescott, tevez, de jong and barry were pretty good in that team, he did buy a few flops, but that's the problem when you're a new team with big money. Who would have thought robinho would have done poorly, he was good for his first season though and look at adebayor at tottenham and at real madrid, he wasn't a bad signing either but city just wasn't for him.
Alex would be a great signing, maybe it was a good idea them sacking warnock after all.
