Does anyone know? i think it is officially called something else?
Used to have spies as members. Is it largely a gay club?

Ooh, now there's a good question. I think it might have changed its name.

It's never really been the same since the Romans moved cracked down in 70AD.

I hear the people's front for Judea is doing better these days, however.

good thread!
i think it might still exist, though not in the form of the famous days when they were mostly gay and many spies etc.
they meet / met on saturday nights for a debate, and i would suspect kings and trinity and johns as the most likely venue.
anyone else know anything????

I think the clue is in the fact that I asked the question!
there were 12 originally, back in the 19th century, but since then any number can be admitted (according to wikepedia), and i was wondering about its popularity.
doh!

Oh well, sorry! It seems to have drifted rather far from its roots, doesn't it? Probably a good thing, it's the kind of thing that gives Oxbridge a bad name...
