OK I'm going to write an ad but not one of those US-style personal ads where women say they're looking for an investment banker who earns at least 50k a year and who has thorough personal hygiene and believes in God.

A nice combination (certainly not the only interesting one) would be:

- Different origin than me: from a different country or just different race. I would hate to be with a girl who looks too much like me.

- A bit intellectual without the snootiness

- Good sense of humour

- More of a literature/languages/arts kind of person. No science/engineering girls. Would be too much like me.

- Sentimental without being a lunatic

- Might have moodswings (With any girl, you have to put up with that :frown:

) but knows how to be reasonable

- Cares about the way she looks

- A bit cynical: certainly not some crazy idealist who thinks everything is beautiful

- Long hair

- Pale skin/Dark hair or Blonde hair

- 5ft8

- Rather slim but most important just well proportioned

- Well shaped boobs :top:

instead of big boobs that sag

- A nice bum

God, that becomes more superficial towards the end doesn't it? :rolleyes:

I'd rather have a girlfriend with crap taste in music but still remains open-minded. I mean, from experience anyway, girls usually have crap taste in music anyway and those that think they have good taste tend to be arrogant, snooty bitches.

Well I tend to find that girls are rather "calculating" in relationships. They definitely think more about what they can get out of the relationship, in addition to sex (whereas a guy will just think about sex :rolleyes:

). These engineering/science girls are even worse as they tend to be even more "calculating". Maybe it's the 6 years I've spent surrounded by such girls that have made me think that way.

Sorry for the generalisation. I'm sure your girlfriend is great.

Not really. I wouldn't go near a female engineering student. They just tend to think so much about their careers, are so serious and logical. I hate that. It's almost as if they get a calculator out when they meet a new guy and try to see how much they can benefit from him.

And I said "tend" before anyone complains about generalisations.
