"I have learnt" is the correct British usage. I'm not sure about the U.S., although your explanation sounds right, Madelyn.

Hehe, can I play? I'm pedantic. Although my particular pleasure is this:

Since the introduction of the new Welsh Language Act, it's been compulsory to include Welsh signs in public places. I like to correct the grammar.

I also hate misuse of apostrophes, and historical inaccuracy.
