In my former life (pre the decision to hop off to uni) was a Client Portfolio Manager at £22k a year......now am dying to get a job in Blockbuster or something because the money isn't THAT bad and you get some free rentals...
At 6th form worked in some well dodgy convenience store type places for about £3.80 an hour, off- licence at £3.90, hotel receptionist at £4.20, coffee house at £4.50, call centre at £5.25 and bank for £6.20
I don't actually know what I'm getting paid this summer but I reckon it's between £6 and 7 an hour. Last year I got £6.80 an hour which was great.
£4.43 per hour (17, Yorkshire)
Another reason not to work at morrisons.
Whats the pay like in central london? Oxford / holborn / Tottenham st. / Strand?
