i got a letter on the 23rd December saying im on the "shortlist" for an offer and will be informed of the outcome in March. Has anyone else had the same response and does anyone know if this is a good thing or a bad thing?? i've heard a few other people have received offers already for Law, which is what i am applying for, on this forum.

I applied to LSE in early october, for Gov but still no reply!
Im doing the IB and the system for grades is not the same.

I have offers at:
QM
Royal Holloway
Brunel

All are for politics

I was rejected from Manchester rrrrrr!

Why are LSE and Westminster so late? Is this a bad sign?

I also decided to apply for 10 Irish courses @ Trinity + UCD

Please help!

Are those placed on the LSE's "waiting list" more likely to receive offers than those who simply haven't heard anything from LSE?

I applied for International Relations in October, and I've heard nothing at all yet. I'm really not expecting to get in, so I've just being going off the assumption that I'll be going to Nottingham. Which, let's face it, is hardly the end of the world.

i applied in mid october and ive heard absolutely nothing from lse, or warwick for that matter. I applied for accounting and finance. Ive got offers from my 4 other universities (notts, bristol, southampton, leeds). i dunno its really annoying .... im thinking that my chances get less everyday that i dont get an offer, although i havent heard of n e one else whos got an offer from lse for this course and lse do hang back till the very last minute traditionally ....
I got on the waiting list, was told around a month ago then phoned up and informed that I was accepted so Im really happy !
