Lol ive gone and got my self tonsillitis! at first is was really nasty but now its a bit better lol and i am getting all dilerious, (sorry wrong spelling too lazy to spell check or get a dictionary, ok i could have done that by now! ANYWAY)

yeh so its making me think there are elves speaking to me lol and that i am in different places and when i am in bed that i am eating peas! lol i recon cause i going hot and cold so much but its well funny!

how on earth do you get tonsillitis anyhoo!

its a bacterial infection. Called the kissing disease casue that generally how you get it!
i get it all the time, and then it triggers my psoriasis off! i hate it!

its like a cold, you just get it, tonsilious is just the symptom of an infection, its the way the throat trys to clean out the infection. I used to suffer alot in my late teens, id have tonsil rocks come out, white hard and bad smelling things. I had my tonsils out when i was 20 right in the middle of my year first avce exams. My health has been much better since, i dont seem to get colds or bad throats as much either.

What is psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a chronic (long-lasting) skin disease characterized by scaling and inflammation. Scaling occurs when cells in the outer layer of skin reproduce faster than normal and pile up on the skin's surface.
When psoriasis develops, patches of skin thicken, redden, and become covered with silvery scales. These patches are sometimes referred to as plaques. They may itch or burn. The skin at joints may crack. Psoriasis most often occurs on the elbows, knees, scalp, lower back, face, palms, and soles of the feet.

Kissing disease is not tonsillitis. Kissing disease is mononucleosis or glandular fever.
Tonsillitis is an inflammation of the tonsills which are an lymphatic organ situtated in your throat. Lymphatic organs are part of the "police" in your body and help combat infections. The inflammation is a reaction to infection.
Mostly it is treated with Penicillin, especially if you can see little nodes of pus (or masses of pus) on the tonsils.
The fact that you are feeling giddy might be due to the infection or more probably high temperature.

Ewww...I hate tonsillitis. I get it quite regularly :frown:

Make sure you get lots of sleep and lots of liquids. Hope you feel better soon :smile:

It's like a cold. Usually the bacteria are around and you might not be quite fit. Then maybe you caught a draught or had cold feet or of course you could have kissed someone who had a cold.... it more or less jumps you and takes advantage of a momentary weekness of your body.

Nothing to worry about. Just keep warm, drink tea, don't eat "heavy" stuff (things that are hard to digest such as fatty food or salads, raw veg) and rest. Usually it is over quite soon. You should not be doing anything strenous for a few days.

i seem to have been getting it every year at exactly the same time for the past 4 years.
this time i beat it to the chase! mwahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!!

from your post it seems like you're paranoid. wouldn't mind talking to elves tbh.
