Thanks people! ive just found out that my plan to work at H&M is sadly no more cos they only take over 21s... a shame cos I really would make use of a discount there

I think I'll def go to the Cardiff jobshop, but Im also gonna try and contact loads of media companies/magazines/radio stations etc for any opportunties they have, cos it will be good experience for my course! (BA in journalism, film and media).

Where did you find out that H&M is over 21 only?

I worked in H&M Cardiff for the 3 years I was at Uni and I only turned 21 in my third year.

I would try and apply for an Xmas position there (as they hire loads of people and keep most of them on after January). The pay is fab for a shop job and they hire people to work what ever they want (in my first year I only worked 4 hours on a sat morning). also the discount is well worth it!!!
