I dont have them but my best friend does and so does my step brother, i guess i was lucky in avoiding them. I probably would have had them if it wasnt for an accident i had when i was 10. On christmas eve i was fighting with a friend, he knocked my 2 front teeth out, they where pout back in very straight, all of my feet are straight know thanks to that!

if i had to have them i wouldnt mind them too much. Yeh they aint pleasent at the time, but think of the improvement when you have them removed, surely nice teeth is worth a bit of pain and disruption.
I used to have them...

They didn't bother me but they wern't worth it...

DITTO!!! :ditto:
traintracks are fine fine fine with me, infact i have kinda grown to like them, not sure why...

but any plastic twinblock, retainer, bite jaw line-up thingies are HORRIBLE AND NEED TO DIE SO BAD.

my orto muttered something about a biteplate last time i went :bawling: it better not be what i think it is, you can't breath its hard to talk (majot trajedy for me!) and its liek you are chokcing all the time yuk yuk yuk

i chose i don't mind them, but thats just because i have got nice ones at the moment.

how many of you have braces? i have them, although he said i should be getting them out in about 4 months or so, but i hate them soo much!! i just got them tightened today and they are killing me!!

i should've got them off before i went on holiday, but because the dude needed an appointment exactly a week after, couldn't make it. so now i'm having them off at the end of september.

heavy metal teeth for another 2 months!
...so i guess it's not too bad.
I used to have them. Things didn't fully work but my teeth are alot better than they were so I'm not too fussed. I remember hateing the tightening sessions. I bit my orthodontist (thats probably spelt wrong) the first time he tightened them. It was really funny. All I could hear was "she bit me, I don't believe she bit me  " for a while hehe. I didn't mean to, my mouth just shut as soon as he had finished it, but still it was so funny  .

i have them, they hurt so much at first!!!
Reply 12
they didn't hurt when they tightened mine. just felt a bit off pressure on the teeth... no pain.

I was given the chance to have braces but it would have meant that I would have had to wear two false teeth all the time so I went for the other treatment.

I had them. Now I don't have vampire teeth anymore :frown:
had them teeth are apparently better - i dont see any difference but hey. they never bothered me though

the teeth between my vampires and front teeth are missing so I have unnaturally large vampires and gaps. Instead of a brace, my vampires were filed right down and now I have porcelein 'caps' in place of them. I still have huge vampires and gaps but I've grown rather fond of them

I never had braces, but I don't think I would have minded when I was around the age of 14. Most of my friends had some and they never really complained. (Apart from the pain during the first few days).
im 18 so a little too late for braces but i wish i had them
