Hey, I typed in 'Colman House' on google and it came up with this thread.
If I can remember correctly I've been allocated number 35, so I'm somewhere between you two.
Who knows, maybe we'll be sharing a kitchen?
i'm also gonna be in 35 in colman house! we're gona be sharing a kitchen so im gonna apologise now for my cooking skills as i will most definitely be setting something on fire.

Haha. Cooking is just about the only thing I'm not worried about. I'm not too bad at fighting fires either
Anyway, awesome to know someone before I get there.
The name's Mike.
Are you moving in on the Sunday 25th? cos that's when I'm supposed to.

Well if John Entwistle wrote a song whilst drinking about killing one called Boris, then its fine by me.
Those crazy rock and roll types.

btw, have you any idea if we're upstairs or downstairs or what?
I don't think I even visited Colman house when I went to UEA, if I did it looks very different in photographs!
not sure if its up or down but i do know the corridors are bright yellow. that's gonna be fun first thing in the morning!

do you know anyone else going to uea? im going to know no one, ah the joys of coming from dorset!

There's meant to be lots of us coming from sunny suffolk so I'll probably see some familiar faces!

You're brave to come alone, but you know me now! sort of  well not really. but you will do.

Anyway, I'm bringing a friend with me. He's called George W Bush. He can live in our kitchen and give us advice at breakfast or sumthin'.

Gotta love the bright yellow
Well at least if I'm upstairs Colman has lifts to help hurl my stuff up there... i think

When I started at UEA I knew absolutely nobody - not one person from my school went the same year as me and I was ok. IMO its better not knowing anyone - you're more open to making lots of new friends - all the girls in my hall in the first year had friends from home who'd come, and so went to the Freshers Fair with them which meant I got a little left out, so went with the boys instead

I'll be sure to do that mate, if I don't do my back in from lugging my stuff all the way from the main car park to my flat!
Anyways, not long to go now.
Look forward to finding everyone Sunday (don't now how anyone will realise who anyone is, maybe I'll wear a sticker or hat or something with 'thestudentroom?' written on it)

Well, my name is John. I'll no doubt be wearing a t-shirt with some skapunk band you have probably never heard of on it. I have short brown curly hair and again, am in Flat 34. Try to pick me out from that description, it's as good as I can give really. Although, I WILL be wearing black and white checkered shoes which you should be able to pick me out from.
