Why aren't all the ingredients of coke listed?
Isn't it compulsory to list everything?

I think they do list everything but I think different substances also contain stuff. If you listed every single chemical thats in everything the ingrediants list would be huge. This is my guess

I think cokes ok in moderation if it was really that bad they would be banned or come with a health warning. 2 litres a day however is far too much and I am total coke head. I drink too much of the stuff at 500ml a day.

Yep. That's why only a few people actually know what's in that black liquid.

thanks viviki.

What I don't understand is why the law allows coke's ingredients not to be fully published?

Although MacDonald's BigMac sauce is a secret all the ingredients are listed?

They are though I think, if you want to know exactly whats in it then do a google search for each item on in the ingrediants. For example a banana contains lots of different chemicals but you don't have ingrediants on them.

It's a trade secret, the law actually protects it. therefore they can lock it away. It's like the source code of windows... to a certain extend.

but if the ingredients are fully known, are you saying that, with today's advanced technology, we have no way of detecting or measuring the concentrations of each substance present in the black fluid?

but our health isn't affected by the source code of windows  :p:
but the black liquid that I drink frequently may accelerate my journey to my inevitable death. They must have carried out large-scale health studies?
