Feeling awful, my bf left me for a prettier girl

I know it sounds shallow, but I would have preferred if it was an ugly girl :s-smilie:

She's so beautiful and I feel awful with myself. He said he didn't break up with me for a girl but they got together a few days after. The reason he gave me didn't make sense.

I did so much for him, whenever he needed me I'd be there, and he always said I was the perfect girlfriend. But then he leaves me because some prettier girl comes along? :frown:

Anyone been in this position? :frown:

people lie, and half the time give you reasons which make no sense, I'm still confused as to why my ex really left me 6 months on... :frown:

if he can just leave you like that after saying you're the perfect girlfriend then he's not worth it, you deserve better :smile:

Her being prettier than you probably wasn't the reason, he hasn't said that, you're just jumping to the conclusions.

Maybe he just got bored? Don't feel bad, or inferior to her, you'll find someone else :smile:

hey, not sure if it'll help. but i've been on the other side before. Having to leave someone even though the relationship was good.

i left an ex a while back, the relationship was good in my opinion even though my friends thought otherwise. what you don't wanna be thinking is that she was prettier than you. If a guy likes you purely on that fact then he's just shallow and not worth bothering with anyways. If he did leave you for another girl because she's apparently prettier, then he's not worth having anyways. Trust me on that one! beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that... just don't let it get you down, someone will come along who treats you the way you want to be treated, who will do anything for you rather than you doing anything for them!

He sounds like a dickhead? You know nothing of this guy. For all you know he fell in love with this other girl and broke it off with his girlfriend in a respectful way. Be a good little girl and stop being so judgemental. Same goes for the rest of you with similar opinions to this one.
