In my city I usually spend about £40 on a night out, including taxi fare. However if I'm elsewhere I can fork out up to £300-paying for a hotel, cocktails, taxis and train fares. This is not often mind.

Why does that sound more like a sleazy weekend with a client rather than going out?

Well I'm not British, but I'm first to vote. Student parties cost like, £1 entrance fee, £1 per drink etc, and I only go once a week (sometimes twice every two weeks... whenever sth fun is going on). So yeah, £5 max.

Student parties  the best ones I've been to were in France. 10 quid to get in, open bar and it truly is free: you can ask for anything at the bar, not just beer, beautiful medicine students all a bit crazy

An even cheap alternative are keg parties. I've been to a few and they were all amazing.

I spend about £50 every time I go out on booze alone. Do you just get drinks bought for you?
No I just don't go out very often.
