Come on children, don't discuss anymore about your schools, all the colleges in London are very good institutions and like the LSE have good and bad aspects.
when i saw this thread had 4 pages, I really thought loads of people had replied and that it would be very insightful....how wrong i was. Instead Phonicsdude (as usual) spammed the hell out of the thread.
In fact, he is on this forum even more than most of us. Paul, are you sure that perhaps deep down, subconsciously you don't wish that you were going to LSE?

Yes, occassionaly we do feel like spamming the hell out of threads on this sub-forum. When people ask silly questions, they get silly replies. However if you read the posts carefully we did try and give some contstructive advice.
Note: Paul posts on this sub-forum because I told him to! (it would be dead without him)
Anuj, what are you doing posting at this ungodly hour?!?!?

Ah yes! that was the time when you drugged me. I say that like I remember. I dont. But that is the only way Id do something because you told me to.
Im sorry. I wasnt aware you had a reputation to preserve.
I would also like to take this opportunity to mourn the death of Robin Cook MP. His resignation speech following the invasion of Iraq was the moment I realised I definitely wanted to do law. The speech was of a simplicity, poignancy and forcefulness, the like of which I have not seen since.I still have a copy of it, printed from the BBC website in a drawer in my room.

Thank you sir.
<insert an ironic comment to lighten the mood>
There is a thread (sticky) on the General Discussion forum about him; have you read it? I've read the article in the BBC website but it doesn't say what the cause of death was.
Meh, why does everyone say LSE is so great? It's usually ranked below Imperial in leagues. As for social life, it can't be much worse than that at IC. So be grateful for your balanced gender ratio!

Ed, I'm surprised to see you posting here!
I think everyone knows the LSE has always had the upper hand over Imperial college...

Although 'The Times' ranked Imperial number 3 and the LSE number 4 in the country, it ranked the LSE number 11 in the World and Imperial number 14...
Only kidding, I do not enjoy playing the "my uni is better than yours" game... However, the LSE has its own prestige and focuses on completely different disciplines compared to Imperial, and so it is hard to compare such different universities to one-another...
Both are internationally renound and respected my employers... probably equally as competitive to get into too...
i think you mean 48% Female and 52% Male 'Aisha' -
.. and is that really ur pictire? it is really annoying me since u neva answered!!!!!
Where did you get that information from? Although the aforementioned statistic may be true as the male:female ratio probably fluctuates. In any case there are more men than women!
Polite request: Can you stop posting soo many smileys, write clearly and stop writing my first name in capitals (sounds like you're shouting)? Otherwise it makes it difficult to read (ie not writing clearly). Thanks in advance.
