Put it this way. I have Tory leanings. I'm just lucky that people normally like me, cos otherwise I would be so ostracised right now with all the election talk.

How many people take their own TVs? How about games consoles (Xbox 360s and PS3s)?

Quite a few people take consoles. A fair number of people take TVs but often it's just so they can play on their consoles - you need a TV licence if you want to watch TV in your room, and given that reception is poor, it's not worth it from that point of view. There's a TV socket in the communal areas but you still need a TV licence for that area. If playing games, or DVDs through your TV is all you want to do then you won't need one.
