A chilled out jazz or piano bar. Somewhere really classy.

red roadkill you've got the right idea! mm, sadly there are none of those near where i live.. but yeah a walk along the beach would also be nice too:smile:

Reply 3

A walk in the park would be fine.

A walk in the park or by the beach or maybe just sitting and having coffee but maybe not the last one as its nice to have a change of scenery when neither of you feel like saying anything.

Restaurant. You can sit opposite an attractive lady whilst eating food!

But a restaurant is far from a relaxed, casual date...

I've said it before and I'll say it again: picnic in a huge park. Make an effort with the food, bring lots of nice stuff. Find a fairly quiet spot. I'm not saying somewhere private so that you can get jiggy, not at all. No, just quiet enough for you to have a private conversation without hearing children screaming in the playground. Make sure you sit in the ground, kick your shoes off and enjoy the sunshine, good food and good company. Just under a big tree is nice, so that you get some shade and no headaches.

I love picnics for first dates and when in a relationship.

If the weather isn't so good, then why not be geeky and walk around a museum together?

Picnics are lovely. Shall hopefully be doing that sometime very soon.

I am also a big fan of nice walks. Not walks in a park though. A few weeks ago I went for a walk through some meddows by a river and then through some woodland and just talked for hours with someone as we walked. It was wonderful.

Being geeky and going to museums is fantastic. I love it. So thankful to be living near some great museums and galleries to be geeky in

Ah, in London we have so many free museums. Your countryside walks sound great, but I've not really got any countryside here, hehe.

Mind you, he has in deepest Suffolk... Hmm..

We have a few free museums in Liverpool but obviously whats on offer is nowhere near that of London.

Ah I do love living where I do, the benefits of urban life on my doorstep but also the joy of being a short distance from a beautiful coastline aswell as Chester with its countryside meddows practically in the middle of the city and the roman walls which are fun to walk round too. I do wish for more museums and galleries though. I guess I just love geeky dates

best place for that, or for anything in my opinions is a lake or by a river
