Why trevs is rubbish

Seen as dobbs seems to have so many reasons why everyone should go to trevs I wondered if other people (not at trevs) would like to suggest a few reasons why not to go to trevs

and to think I've been singing praises for Aidans for the past 2 weeks! (you have very nice accomodation and I loved your college for the week I stayed there )

well of course you did, its much better than trevs

btw where did you stay?

Well I was in H-House with a lovely ensuite bathroom....but all of my kids (I was there for the summerschool) were in the regular accomodation. Some were on C-Curve and others were on C-Straight....all the rooms were damn nice!!

Though obviously that accomodation at the end of the straight needs a bit doing up lol....not too nice (you know where I mean?)

Anyway yeah I liked the size of your JCR as well as your dining hall for some reason. Oh yeah and the amount of chocolate/drinks machines dotted around the place! Theres crap loads!

lol yeah aidans is a hidden gem, and the grotty bit is known as the ghetto, I used to live on C curve and then moved to B straight which has the same rooms as C straight all very nice and the vendors are very useful when needing lucozade at 4am to help rid my hangover

Though people kept on going "Oooh the double rooms on the curve are massive" then I saw one and although yeah quite big (and all nice and new stuff!) they weren't all that big!

Also your gym looked quite nice....though I thought it seemed a tad small for the size of your college! Other good stuff: the large population of rabbits in the area, the open space in the middle which has 2 trees which make a natural football goal lol.

Bad things: the stairs!! If I ever have to go up Aidans Steps again I'll kill someone lol

and yeah i have to agree about the steps, after 6.15 finish in labs they are evil

We had 2 nights where we had been out all evening either to a big meal or to ice skating/bowling and the buses dropped us off at the bottom of the steps (b*stards) so we had to go up them then....

Anyway....I stayed for another week in Collingwood, and I can safely say that Aidan's has much nicer accomodation and is generally a better college! Collingwood is too much of a hotel/conference centre

This thread has gone better than planned, as well as not promoting trevs its also abusing the 'wood and promoting aidans!

Just trying to prove to you that I don't just promote Trevs.....I promote other colleges too

See...Aidan's doesn't have much competition from Trevs and vice versa - we're very different colleges (particularly size)....so I don't mind promoting yours. Especially since I actually really did enjoy staying there for the week!

Sad thing is that when I was staying there I actually thought "Ooooh that Cobra dude will be happy when I say I enjoyed staying at Aidans on TSR" lol ....also wish I'd known your name 'cos then I would've tried to spot you on the board with everyone's photos on

I was going to apply to Hatfield, but then I decided to apply to Trevs because the retro architecture is ace and it's nearer the psych building, anything close to Freudian professors has gotta be good .
