Is Clare posting out offers/rejections on Dec. 30th like Jesus?
Someone said they were I think, may have been Sue! but I don't know for sure, seems like a silly time to post it because of the New Year holiday... but then you're probably going to be drunk between those two posts anyway!
Personally I didn't mind the waiting because I had all my other offers and was totally sure I wasn't going to be accepted, so when they offered me AAB I had to get other people to read the letter because I didn't believe it! It ruined my plans of going to Warwick

Ahh, I see The next few days are going to be a long wait, whilst trying to maintain a little sobriety, with New Year's Eve and all!
I'm a second year computer scientist, which probably explains why I'm a UCS computer rep and the webmaster for the Union of Clare Students site (it probably also explains why I'm on website forums at almost 4am ). As an aside, there are nice albeit quieter forums on the UCS site too, I'm sure everyone will be friendly if any of you Clare people say 'hi' on them... though you of course may want to wait until after the dreaded letter incase you don't feel so happy afterwards *shrug*
And if you're wondering what a computer rep does, basically all I have to do is go to twice termly meetings with the college and argue with them a bit and the only other real thing is to introduce all the freshers to the computing stuff at Clare. So if any of you applicants get accepted and don't do gap years then it will probably be me standing up in front of you next October explaining how to use a computer etc. This year was interesting because the entire university network was dead during the introduction talks, so I couldn't demonstrate anything and had to resort to saying "These are the computers, they'll be working next time you come in this room".

Alaric.
Go figure. I should probably be getting some shuteye now. goodnight
Trinity Hall is a wicked choice for compsci, lots of very talented compscis, and they have a good student run computing setup. Did you get interviewed by Simon Moore? He's a very funny guy, went to wake up one of his students who hadn't turned up for his 10am lecture, which must have been quite a funy way of being woken up.
Yeah one of my interviewers was simon moore, I'm just annoyed that I didn't perform as well as I know I could of. But it all in the past now and at least I have five other unis to choose from
ahh! i remember now what trinity man said. they post them on the 28th and that we should get them new yearish! im fed up of all this waiting!
So they've finally all gone out? Wahey. To be honest, I'm not as scared as I thought I'd be because I know I have a decent university to fall back on if I don't get in (or if they give me a 1:1 offer on STEP).

Hey! I didn't apply to Clare, (sorry, my posts were probs confusing as was talking about it!) it was Jesus I applied too - Natsci - nasty interviews!! What did you apply to do? Clare was actually my fav col but I realised had sit an entrance exam thingy for my sub and decided didn't want to slight my chances even more! Do you know when you'll be getting the letter? My day of reckoning is sometime after the 30th apparently, uhoh! Good Look anyhows! xx
I applied for maths at Trinity. Had Dr Fisher and Dr Paternain for the interview. They were really friendly and the interview didn't go terrible but it didn't go great either. Second choice is Warwick.

Cool! I had Dr Fisher and Gabriel Paternain! Did they offer you chocolate cake when you entered the room?
Yep. Was all nice and informal really. Which day were you on?
I did this all last year, on the 9th December. They are really nice and put you on ease. I got an offer (although I didn't make it ), but I thought it had gone pretty well.

What offer did they give you then? And are you happy enough at Bath?
