Hey newbie!! which college at durham? ;-)
I went up there to see a prof. in Theology (wrote to him beforehand), he asked what college I was considering and at that point not realising that Durham had a collegiate system I said "Errrrrr-OPEN! Yes, I plan to make an Open application......."

Picked "University" at random....

Here's a question -

If you don't get in, will you reapply next year?
I'm thinking about reapplying to Cambridge, having been rejected by Oxford. It will depend on what the interview report says, what my teachers think (although I've spoken to a couple and they're for it), what I get in my A-levels, and whether I find something really worthwhile to do for a gap year.

Seriously, as far as I was concern it was a "U" from the drop-down list on the UCAS site

Good for you! Although, I have a feeling that 2005 will be more competitive than usual as many students will be desperate to avoid top up fees.

Yes that's a worry -- why can't the government just do the sensible thing and not make those wishing to defer to 2006 pay? As it is it'll cause a lot of trouble with unis, will only raise a very small amount of extra money for the government, and some gap year organisations claim to be facing ruin. However someone who is equally good/bad as me got an offer in my subject defered to 2005.
