14,000 applications per year
3500 places
3500 placed in the pool
380 applicants reinterviewed
650 applicants received place through the pool
225 pooled applicants received direct offers without returning for pool interviews

All Colleges pooled applicants (but not in all subjects)
Offers were made in all subjects
29 Colleges made offers through the pool.

So that means out of 14,000 applicants, 3000 or so receive offers instantly. The other 500/600 offers are from the pool.

Urm, I mean, that means 3500/11000 applicants get pooled.

YAY! got an offer for biological natural sciences at Trinity Hall. have to get AAA at A2 and A in AS further maths though so pretty hard but should get it as long as I work. really wasn't expecting it I thought I messed up my interviews so badly I don't have a clue what either was about lol!

If 29 colleges put people in the pool, then some people may end up going to a more popular college than the one they initially applied to.

how old are you? if you are under 21 you will not get assigned to one. if you are above 21 you will probably be assigned to one.

yes thats true, but you have to be over 21 if you are to fill one of those undergrad spaces. You will not be pooled to any mature college unless you are over 21. Those colleges are exclusively for over 21s.

I have been reading the posts on this thread for the last few days. Have been gripped! I am really happy for those who got offers and those who have not..you WILL go to other great unis and have a fantastic time. A lot more people have seemed to get into Cam than had received offers from Oxford...Well done!!
