I so should have applied there....I thinking picking the college closest to the faculty was not a good idea, 10 applicants for a tiny subject of 2-3 places....Robinson would have been also near the faculty, but still secluded enough and pretty! Perhaps it's somthing to do with the colleges being further out or something......
there were 14 people at the interview, and theres around 7/8 places at robinson so thats pretty good odds. it is a really nice college, plus most of the rooms are en-suite

What time is it now in the UK? It's 830pm here and I haven't slept for 2 days (well I slept for 2hours this morning). I need to hijack the plane that my letter is on and rip it open. ARGH.
it's 12:30pm here. if you dont get sleep you will be so tired that you wont be able to read the letter when it comes!!!

Woah.. yeh the odds were pretty good. I was pretty stupid about my college choice. I chose Downing coz' I loved it to bits, but 2 weeks after my application was sent, I flipped to the back of the prospectus and saw that Downing was in 'red' for applicants per place for Law. ARGH. Of all the luck in the world.

You shouldn't apply to a college just because it's unpopular!! In any case, the "open" applicants and pooled ones will easily make up the difference.

Yeh I guess. It would be sooo soooo sooooo wonderful if I could go to Downing. I fell in love with it instantly. It was the first time I had ever been to the UK and despite the cold weather (being plunged from 32 degrees to 2 degrees).. and rain.. I was so happy. *dreamy sigh*... Please God.
Cambridge economics - Anyone can tell me how many candidates there were for how many places at their College? What questions were asked at the interviews. I'll apply next year. Thanks.
Okay I'm off! Byeah everyone. Congrats to everyone who made it! I am truly envious. I'll be back only when the results come on.. please come soon. See ya!
P.S. Should I call if they haven't given me a reply by the 6th?
Seer, I know we've been hostile to one another before but i think it's time we join forces and make friends.
truce.
Well it says offers were made in all subjects. Emmanuel and Clare are probably the 2 most competitive colleges, so chances are our applications will be looked on first
