Declaring Mum's Carer's allowance on Student Finance

I'm in the process of applying for student finance for my second year and on the parental income. My parents are separated so my Dad's not taken into account and my Mum doesn't work but she receives the carer's allowance (my brother's autistic) and last year there was a specific box to declare it (because it is income based so taken into account blah blah blah) but this year - no such box. Is that correct - do they remember it from last year? Because it doesn't fit in anywhere else

Yes it does.
Question3 section 3
Did you receive any income from salary, wages, occupational
pensions or taxable state benefits?
Carers allowance is a taxable state benefit.
It is here on form PFF2

Ok they've grouped it together with salary and wages (checked the little help box on the online form after what you said other) - last year it was separate hence the confusion - thanks

Hi I'm a graduate, and currently on cares allowance for my mother, I haven't found work as yet, but will student finance deduct from my cares allowance?
