id take the orange juice from wherever you got it.. or take it to food standards.. thats really bad, you could get food poisioning

Ewww! How old was the juice? Was it already open in your fridge or was it like that 'fresh'?

Not a medical opinion, but if you can, it might be worth having a tactical chunder. Better out than in and all that jazz!

Eww wtf that ain't mould thats something stuck at the bottom of that carton :puke: Phone the company and the papers :p:

I just threw up and feel a bit better, and yeah I emailed the company.

It hade been open for a few days but the carton says nothing about that it can't be open. I mean it was shut tight with the lid.

Even if it had been open for a few days, it shouldn't go like that - that's some serious mould!

should I speak to the company about it?

Defo worth it. Also, you could look up the relevant contact at EFSA (European Food Standards Agency) and copy them in, because if what you say was true, with the product being kept at the suggested temp, being in date, stored for no longer than recommended once opened etc it could suggest that there might be some kind of batch problem.

It looks fungal from your pictures, so equally you might just have been unlucky and a nasty got into your juice the last time it was opened. However, most companies will send you a good will jesture, even if it's not strictly there fault.

Just had a look as I couldn't remember the name of the relevant Sweedish Agency, but it looks like you would need either the Swedish Agriculture Board, the Swedish Chemicals Inspectorate or the Swedish National Food Administration . Not sure which is the relevant one as I don't speak Swedish

I would print them and write as well, it's harder to ignore letters as there's hard evidence.

Where was the juice bought? You should contact the shop (as well as the manufacturer) - they shouldn't be selling out-of-date products!

Reply 19

You should send that to Steve, don't eat it!
