Well, it wasn't me who gave you that if that's what you're implying. I haven't called anyone racist - I only asked if it was important that they were Asian.

If the rep bothers you you could probably report it to a mod and they would tell you who gave it and warn them or something. I think you can do that for personal insults etc..

A couple of my mates have been mugged by some Asians with knifes on more than one occassion. Just don't walk through Radford/Lenton/Nottingham on your own at night.

Done that a few times drunkenly and have never had a problem, most of the time there are plenty of other students around. I worked till 11 every monday and tuesday and never had a problem getting back home to lenton either.

I don't think it's muggings that are the issue, the risk comes mainly from burglaries and bike theft.

the point is that muggings could have been done by any ethnicity, and just because andyuk's experience was wif the asians doesnt mean you gotta fear asians. it could be anybody next time.

so instead of fearing/blaming asians, practice caution.

i think this whole asian issue has been hyped up for no reason at all! :rolleyes:

No, remember my original title to that thread was "I feel sick..." then Jamie, a lovely mod decided to change that to "I feel sick... asians given tour of number 10" - as I explained a million times I wasn't pissed off because it was Asians I was annoyed that the beeb reported the new labour propaganda as if it was a genuine news article.

This thread might soon get moved because of the political, ethnic and religious references, but I don’t think such propaganda - ones that actually nullify the effect of propaganda itself as it lacks subtly would have much impact on the public anyway. Unless you are saying we are all naive?

I might be a member of the BNP on these boards but that DOESN'T MEAN every single post I make will be of the far right persuasion. The thread that got twisted by Jamie had nothing to do with Asians, I said that about four times in the thread after everyone kept trying to pin it on me :rolleyes:
