As far as I know it's ok to take two packets of pills one after the other. It obviously doesn't harm you if you do it occasionally - when I changed types my doctor told me to finish the pack of old ones and start my new ones straight away.

If you're concerned then have a chat with your doctor.

Running two or three together at a time should cause you no problems. This is referring to running lots and lots together - and I'm not aware of the extent of the evidence for this.

i seriously doubt it.... doctors are always telling people its ok for up to three packs, and it even tells you how to do it in the leaflets for the pill.
It's often advised to run packs together, some people with very heavy periods etc take the pill for this reason, so they don't have periods at all, practically..

HOWEVER i also know that it's recommended to have at least 2 or 3 'breaks' i.e. periods a year, i think because otherwise they can be v heavy.. and maybe the fertility reason too...
Yep -another time it's advised is when you are taking antibiotics, they couldn't reccomend this and not mention infertility if it was a possibility so two packets without a break should be fine. (ps, thanks, this thread just reminded me that I'd forgotten to take mine today but i'm still within the 12hr safety zone )
