    A hypothetical question:
If I were to get a B overall in A-level German and I wanted to improve my grade to an A could I re-sit individual A-Level modules the following January and could I keep my AS Level German results so as to combine them with the re-sits?
Thankyou in advance for any advice

Seems that you only have a firm offer and no insurance offer according to your signature. I hope they would be more lenient though, as you have no insurance choice. In addition, when you choose your firm and insurance offer, Durham should know that you declined the other 5 universities, leaving Durham as your firm offer.

If you decline your grade, you should be able to resit any individual modules you want, so you wouldn't have to resit any AS modules if you didn't want to.

I initially was going to choose lse because of the name but then thought I might as well visit it just in case it wasn't as good as it looked. That was probably the single best decision that I have ever made. I decided to reject LSE for the following reasons:

1.The teaching methods- they didn't seem to run tutorials in the same way as Durham
2.It offered no more employment opportunities in law than Durham- that's by LSE's own admission.
    3.I hated London
4.Being in London it would cost me twice as much as Durham but the education was no better.
5.The student union was a dive.
6.The collegiate system at Durham suits me far better than just living out in some crappy digs for 3 years.

By the way thanks for the advice everyone! It has certainly taken a weight off my mind.
