ITALIAN! It's easier. Apparently (according to my Spanish teacher) Portuguese grammar is HORRENDOUS. Portuguese would give you more choice for your year abroad as it is spoken in 2 continents, but both Brasil and Portugal are quite poor countries and the food isn't as good as in Italy. You don't have to listen to me, though :biggrin:


I dont know about portugal being poor, and i know a few people who would disagree about the food! and portuguese grammar isnt that hard at all! its very similar to spanish maybe your teacher is just keeping up the spanish vs portuguese rivalry that i have witnessed in my time.
