Not sure how old this post is but, as an actual BSc Psychology graduate who has been officially diagnosed with ADHD, I agree that you should check with your doctor. I was exactly the same re: inattentive behaviour. Always been an A student but I always wondered why it took me so much longer to get things done and why I got distracted constantly. Wasn't until I went to high school in the U.S. and started seeing my school therapist (for anxiety) that they referred me to a psychiatrist and put me on Vyvanse, then Adderall, and my whole life changed. It was like I was driving with the hand brake on my whole life without realising.It'll be difficult to get a prescription for methylphenidate (the stimulant used in these medications) in the UK but if you genuinely have concerns that you may have ADHD, definitely speak to your GP about it and keep persisting. It took me about 6 months to get a prescription for Ritalin and that's WITH my previous records and referrals from the U.S. the key word is
