I think you mean, bitter someone has knocked them off "their f*****g perch"
    That's the one.

Still don't know why that person put Fulham on the bottom, it's not like they're exactly rivals with Chelsea any more.

Absolutely not. Why would they buy a 30 year old?

i cant believe that MU, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool didnt make an effort to sign Owen, who is a pure outright goalscorer, something that they all lack (apart from RvN)
Owen is not world class- IF Man U bought him, he would be our 4th striker. not worth it. Owen is a good player and a great finisher but he;s not in the world class category. Thats why none of the big teams in Europe went for him and why Madrid wanted him to leave.

Schevchenko is far too good to play for Chelsea. The truth is he is world class which means Milan just WONT let him go. When you dealing with players that good, only a world record bid will dislodge them (assuming they dont have a bust up with the club etc).

    1) Needed last gasp goal vs Piraeus in group stage
    2) 'Goal' vs Chelsea
    3) Shevchenko's miss in extra time
    4) Penalty shoot out
    5) Poor league form (last season AND this season)

these are a few reasons why you could call Liverpool's CL win 'lucky'.
i know there is also a strong argument from the 'deserved win' POV, but what do you think about it?

i was delighted that liverpool won it, but their poor league form so far this season makes me wonder just HOW they won it!
Lucky? Hey it's cup football. Cup football is largely based upon luck.

In cup football, it's not necessarily the best team that wins. "Best" meaning in terms of quality. Do you really think Liverpool collectively were/are as good as AC Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, etc.?!

People dwell far too much on the side on paper. If we're going to give the Cup to those with the Galacticos, it should have gone to Milan, Barca, Madrid or Chelsea. That's not football, unless your idea of it originates from FM games. We had something to offer that they hadn't, not necessarily luck, and so there's a reason as to why we're European Champions.

Ffs, the way our achievement is belittled, you'd think Rotherham were in with a chance of winning the damn thing.

Adriano doesn't want to move to Chelsea as he signed an extension for his contract but nevertheless considered the move.

My mate's dad's sister's friend's grandson who works cleaning the bins outside stamford bridge said Chelsea are on the verge of signing striking sensation Adi Akinbiyi for £20,000,000. They've fought off strong interest from clubs such as Hull City and the MK Dons to nab their man.

Accordin to reports that swede is gonna pick ferdinand over campbell on saturday. No offence but ferdinand lost his stregnth n talent and campbells just got back on form So what the heck is goin on!

On the over hand can't complain, at least campbell wont get injured when we need him most!

that's a terrible decision by sven if it's true. But youre right, at least we can look forward to seeing him in a redcurrant shirt next weekend vs west brom, rather than in a suit again.

He's faster, better in the air and younger. He has better leadersip qualities IMO and Campbell has only just came back.

plus campbell and terry together wouldn't really work in a tactical sense. campbell is strong but he is slow, and with two wing backs (usually cole and neville) you cannot really afford to have a two slow-ish centre backs incase the wing backs get stuck upfield by a failed attack. i'm a united fan, and i would say that campbells form recently has been better than ferdinands, but i still think that the optimum would be to have terry injured for a year then campbell and ferdinand could rule the roost.
