Thats what annoy me about clubs like Chelsea and Man UTD and Arsenal... they call us **** teams... before Chelsea brought their success we were a better team than you for a start....

I have said it before and will say it again - its very easy to follow a big club, but try SUPPORTING a small club and you will see what football is really about in my opinion... (those who travel to the big clubs every week i apologise but the ones who claim to support a club yet rarely see them play - and think they are in a position to comment about Blackburns support or quality... do my head in.)

One mans rubbish is another man's treasure?

We're not all fans of clubs who win trophies upon trophies of prestigious prizes. Better the lesser experience of success than the lavish prizes taken for granted.

    indeed.
but you cant argue that spurs are a small club or anything. they have a large fan base, decent stadium, good players, and quite a bit of cash.

    Everyone hates Chelsea.
    No they don't.

And the most arrogant manager i've ever seen in this whole world
    That's up for debate.

Edit: Well, you're probably no more than 16 years old so you may never have seen Brian Clough being arrogant. Nevermind.

And they're finally doing something with it. Good on them.

As a Brighton supporter, 2 seasons ago from being seconds away from losing in the play off semi finals to Swindon, to scoring in the last seconds, winning on penalties and then beating Bristol City in the final.

Closely followed by the draw at home to Ipswich to keep us in Division 1 on the last day of last season.

If your club has done something exceptional, such as winning a European cup then that has to be it for you.

Means for me the whole treble thing - yes the Champions league fiinal was ace, but the semi final of the cup against Arsenal - that game had everything - saved penalty, extra time, wonder goal - everything! I could hardly speak for about 3 days I'd lost my voice!

Didn't Chelsea have a £30 million plus bid turned down for Torres in the summer? I saw him play in a pre-season match and he was woeful. I know he'll obviously have better days but his attitude was attrocious and I'm not sure how suited he'd be to the English game.
God knows. I never really know if it's media hype or for read these days. I don't think he'd be suited either.

man utd's treble was even luckier than liverpools CL success.
CL - last minute goals v dominant bayern
EPL - Arsenal effed up at the death
FAC - Last min pen save, ET goal.

not sure if it was luck or just meant to be that way, but hey what can you do.

sarcastic clapping doesn't even deserve a freekick.
Well, let me know if and when you ever referee a game and you had a sarcastic clapper in your face and let's see how you react then shall we? What Rooney and Beckham did lacked sportsmanship.

Don't matter what the reason was - was my best memory in football.

Sometimes footballs like that and the trick is to enjoy it when you can. I've experienced the highs and the lows!

I still have dreams about that treble!

they just havn't been able to do an arsenal and bring in one or two amazing but vital players. we've all seen arsenal without henry.. if spurs could land someone like that (and i think that they have in the long term with jenas and even defoe..) the future's bright.

It isn't the clubs that call them that usually (although i'm sure Jose has said something along those lines at some point), its the minority of fans.
Personally i don't think its right to call a team **** just because they aren't one of the big few clubs. But if a team is playing like ****, then its right to say they are playing like ****.
At the moment, Everton are playing like **** in general, although it was a great result against chelsea, so i will say as much.

It isn't easy supporting a big club, mainly because of people like you i'm sorry to say, who go and generalise that because someone supports a big club they musn't be a proper supporter, and that they think this or that.
If you support a smaller club, people don't ***** about it, they don't say 'your only supporting them because they are doing well' and stuff, but thats what fans of Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. have to put up with.
