    Uh, Uganda.

Who we lost to earlier... but it's not happened since 1972 so its a massive deal for us
Uganda? Don't think so fella, it was Uruguay. Shows why you Aussie's aren't very good at football, because you cant even remember who you're playing lol

Aye, but Cahill's got as much class as Hibbert's middle finger. Kewell is a classy footballer, but can never (be arsed to) turn it on.

    Don't do it! Don't!
You've proving to be a typical Liverpool fan with comments like that! Kewell had class before joining your team, but not once can I remember him showing any form in a red shirt.
Cahill, as most people would tell you, is a classy player, 10x the player Kewell is!

Kewell can be classy but probably won't be for you, watch him light up the world cup next year. Least fatboy viduka missed a penalty !

He was good when he first came here, for half a season anyway. Then got injured, turned into a sicknote, and lamed it up like a biatch (earning millions in the process). Cahill is not 'classy', Arteta is 'classy'. I just don't rate him as high as some (esp toffees) for obvious reasons.

That's not the first time a team was beaten 8-0...
Don't you guys remember the 2002 world cup when Germany beat Saudi Arabia 8-0....
That was hilarious & pretty embarassing ...I lived in Saudi at the time, and they always celebrate after they win any game, even if against the crappiest team out there. The streets are packed...saudi kids wave the flag around.
After this game, the streets were completely empty...you can practically hear crickets in the city center which never goes to sleep. For some reason, they always manage to qualify (somehow) but not win one game afterwards...:hahaha:

Anyways, in UAE's defence, no one stands a chance against Brazil...I know I'd be very upset if Brazil lost this game even though I live in UAE now. (fat chance, I know).

I'm not denying that Kewell is a very good player, i'd have loved for us to have signed him back in his Leeds days. Not sure the reasons for his decline, but he just doesn't show it anymore, the Liverpool fans hate him and his attitude stinks. I'd stick Timmy on the right wing ahead of Kewell any day, and it's not even his favoured position.

I'm nothing near a fan of his, I'm pissed off mightily with him in fact. But somewhere in him is an excellent player, and maybe he can show it again.

Good to see him back. His banning on the basis of racist remarks lacks consistency when compared to the music culture, especially hip hop.

The Bahrainis had been furious the referee disallowed an Ahmed Hassan goal when he kicked the ball out of Jack's hands.
