you need all the positivity you can hold off...but really thats being deceitful to what you know is the inevitable, that is,
the downfall of Portsmouth from a Premiership team to a team in the Championship - its rightful home. 'Home is where the heart is' and Portsmouths heart is in the championship...

Damn straight. How long did it take Portsmouth to get into the premiership? 27 years is that? The championship isnt our new home oziris. Wait until we've been it it for at least half the time the Skates were (and soon will be again) until you call it our home

    *growls*

Saints already have been but willl be back in the premiership next season. And the Skates will be back where they belong.
you mean like..... 13th in the Premiership

And wizard - shut up. You seem to be trying to imply that everyone to do with portsmouth has done something wrong, when in fact it was down to a petty dispute between two men with big egos. Now we had a chance to get Harry back (our only decent manager in the last 10 years) so I really don't see who can blame us for taking it, considering the alternatives.

So I suppose by your logic, Sheffield Wednesday's true home is still the premiership?

Pompey won Division 1 easily with Harry in charge, after coming in the bottom half for so many years before.

They went up as champions, then beat Man Utd both times they played them at home. And not forgetting they beat Southampton last season to throw them further into relegation.

The only reason I would want Southampton back in the premiership is for the derby games.

Since when was football a gentleman's game?
Not since players actually cared for the club for which they played more than the money they could get elsewere.

If you're going to copy and paste whole articles can you not provide links? It's not difficult and lacking citations means you're a plagiarist.
Ermm, I did provide the author? Read again, you may have missed Paul Tomkins in bold. Didn't post the whole article as people mightn't appreciate scrolling through Liverpool FC forums to read it.

I admit, Hamann's been part of his own nasty tackles. However, he did have the intelligence and common decency to serve his ban, apologise to his man, and not show contempt for fellow footballers and human beings.

Because you didn't put the title of piece, date or where you got it from. If we're being dull-essay pernickety then also publisher and place of publication.:p:
same old same old...anything 'fresh' to offer?
Does it need to be fresh when it's true? Ok, if you really want to be contemporary:
Looked at the clubs losses from dropping out yet and the amount of loans the owner has?Ouch.

Terrible football isn't it? All this money. The Premiership sucks. Should try proper sport which is close as amateur sport as you can get like hurling.
