I agree just look at: Cygan, Senderos, Reyes (could of got Owen for that money), Wright (great potential talent until going to Arsenal), Jeffers (ditto), Lehman, Gilberto, Poom.

Sweden for the win! England will not beat Sweden this time either, Sweden's has a much better team 2006 than 2002. Watch out for Zlatan Ibrahimovic!

    Group B predictions:

    W D L PTS
    Sweden | 2 | 1 | 0 | 7 |
    England | 2 | 0 | 1 | 6 |
    Paraguay | 1 | 1 | 1 | 4 |
    Trinidad & Tobago | 0 | 0 | 3 | 0 |

England lose to Sweden while Sweden draws with Paraguay.

Don't forget that Jermaine Pennant, a decent player, who didn't have the games he deserved at Arsenal.

Being a liverpool fan, honestly, if you had asked me 2 months back if there was a chance of us being 2nd? Honestly, my answer would have been "Are you having a laugh?" But Benitez has started doing thigns right. And we are second, very happy, feels good to be so! Hopefully Man UTD lost 2moro!

It's a great change to see Chelsea and Liverpool being the top two rather than Man United and and Arsenal isn't it?

    hmm...........
im more of a person who watches cricket more but il say
    erm.........
england are ranked 9th in the world
but i wud say sweden as they are ranked 14 in the world and Sweden have plenty going forward. In addition to Ibrahimovic they have Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson and Arsenal's Freddie Ljungberg, who is never short of goals from midfield.

    what do u think???

That's not anything to do with talent spotting. They recruited a good player, to their credit

    Good. Better late than never.
True. It's a shame it took three days and a public complaint by Hamann, before he could find the time in his busy schedule to make the phone call though. It reflects badly on him, and his club.
I had a browse on a Chelsea forum earlier and a lot of them don't seem to think that's there was a whole lot wrong with his challenge. That's disappointing

But it is a managerial flop to have left him on the bench too much and then sold him. They could do with him to be honest.
