what concerns me most is if they cant build one stadium on time, what the heck is going to happen come olympic time?
think the london 2012 team have hired the same guy who organised the construction of the athens buildings - so a last 6 month rush to get it finished then

he's a quater of a defence from a team that drew with spain, woah Alex has some quality scouts there. Ah well I can't say im jealous, espec when we are still in the champions league!

Yup. Benitez is such a "complete idot" that he sold a player he didn't want, to make £3.5m gross profit. Why on earth would he dream of doing that? Especially when he could could have left him to stagnate; running down his contract on loan as the club has no financial accountability.
Actually, it was 6.15 mill cos we got him for 350k

I don't know a lot about him, but we are still looking for a CB, so it would have been nice to have that sorted out early so we can concentrate on Sabrosa or whoever. He does sound quality too.

Looks pretty decent, can't be as bad as Wes Brown anyway. Where did Wes Brown's talent go?

A long time, he's been on Liverpool's radar for months - seen as a replacement for Hyppia, Utd hadn't expressed an interest in him until recently. Could be another big miss for Liverpool, along with Owen.

We bid somewhere near £5m rather than what he's gone for. Looks like Agger's the one we're going for instead.

Here it is, the last week of 2005, and over the past 12 months many memorable football events have happened during that time. Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League, Chelsea won the League, Man United won...oops sorry.

But what was your memorable football moment of the past year? Can be a huge event like the CL finals or perhaps a good cup run for a non league team.

    lol hes right
You are getting confused with FA cup Carling cup etc.
England games are played at English grounds: Old Trafford, Newcastle, etc
Cardiff is for Wales. England and wales are 2 different teams and tehrefore cant share same ground.
