£7m for someone who scored 19 goals the season before and has made a huge contribution to our play this year doesn't compute as extortionate to me. Buying someone for £21m and keeping him on the bench on the other hand...
Still think its extortionate but I wasnt really saying Liverpool have a habit of it, I just dont mind if they do do it. Chelsea goes without saying

    AC Milan VS Chelsea

That would be an awesome final. It wouldn't be like last years CL final which milan had fully dominated. It would be a good attacking match from both sides

no it won't - chelsea wil play the same way they do against Barca - sit back and hit them on the break.

So you're saying that you weren't entertained in that match?

Prefer the Sky duo of Martin Tyler and Andy Grey to be honest.
Andy Gray is so darn biased...

    would you mind??

brings in a nice bit of money for doing relatively nothing. Look at the phats loads of money arsenal will be getting from emirates for giving up their naming rights. Man Utd will probably go down this road aswell but I know alot of their fans feel strongly about keeping old trafford. Yet when you think about the money man utd will get for it then the glazers know it is all too lucrative.

however you have to put up with your 'home' being reffered to as some plastic sponsor. shows your club has become all too money mad and ruins the tradition of the club.

Hold up lol. I said who would you like to see in the final.

    Anyways, http://football.guardian.co.uk/Match...369639,00.html
Yeah I've seen you mention that before. What happens if Liverpool take the lead and then Benfica score, say late on bit like Porto did to Man Utd? Completely be a different scenario then wouldn't it.

Sissoko? Examples? Don't you watch him play?

I guess you've forgotten the game earlier this season when he stamped on a (Bolton?) player and got away with it?

It's ok to attempt to break somebody's leg though I guess?
My (probably biased) opinion is that he accidentally stood on Diouf's calf (does it make it excusable that it was Diouf?) trying to get to the ball that was between Diouf's legs.

I hope it's just the media looking at worst case scenario to hype the story up. As Parry says it's too early to know the likelihood of any of the possible outcomes until they know the extent of the damage. For anyone to lose the sight in their eye at such a young age is tragic.

Shame. They're keen on fining Gary Neville for his celebration and still not heard what they are going to about bungs, which occured weeks before this. Priorities are lacking here I believe.

All of them are biased to an extent. Still I prefer him them two to any other.

I think some people are getting confused with Essien for Sissoko, and are getting too excited over it.

Anyone watch the matches from Argentina or any other country from the Americas?

Just wondering if I can ever watch this stuff on TV. Have seen Boca Juniors play against Club Mexico (in the Copa Libertadores de América final - very controversial that was) on Channel 5 in the early hours of the morning at work before.

    Anyone?

Well you know Chelsea and their dirty players. They had Dennis Wise and Vinnie Jones once.
