I wouldn't like it. I want our new stadium (whenever it finally arrives) to be called Anfield.

The small number of people who did it are not fans and that view seems to be shared by Man Utd fans who thankfully understand that Liverpool fans do not condone the behaviour at all. The true feeling towards Smiths injury of Liverpool was shown by the round of applause as he left the ground, and the support of our players & staff towards him. The idiots who threw the bottles at the ambulance are not football fans at all.

Not an option. Liverpool aren't good enough to do it again- players like Kewell, Finnan, Crouch and Sissoko are just not classy enough.
Kewell is showing much improved form this season if he carries on improving we could well see the old Harry form of Leeds back.

Finnan is one of the best right backs there is this season. He is solid at the bck can get up the field and can cross well. Unsung hero who is brilliant , anyone sense deja vu?? (Carragher!)

No, but players of this calibre get places in the squad. Traore is absolutely woeful. I felt sorry for the guy in the final.
It looks like Traore could make an apperance for us v City this weekend as Carra is suspended. Oh yay lol

Apparently the Liverpool medical team were outstanding, and, chanting aside whilst he was down injured, the crowd also deserve praising for respecting a player that had been badly injured.

The Liverpool were on the pitch straight away helping and continued to in the tunnel, thats how it should be a bad injury to a player is more than rivarly between clubs.

As for the song it was just a bit of "scouse wit" the incident happend right infront of where I sit and I didn't realise how bad it was at first. When I seen Ruud's face when he walked away and nearly threw up that was the first time I realised it must really be bad.

I wish him all the best with his recovery. x

Yeah, it was hard to tell at first. I guess the fans didn't mean any disrespect, and, as I said, them and the Liverpool physios deserve praising for their efforts.

Let's hope he's back on his feet sooner than later! :yy:

Ooo we can take bets on whether him or Sissoko will be back first!

I can see Smith coming back first, dunno if Sissoko can.. *smug grin*
Err, seriously though, hope they both are back in action sooner than expected!
