Henry goes, leaves Walcott, Van persie and Adebayer (cant remember his name)
Bergkamp will retire and Reyes is more of a left winger.

Walcott is too young to be pushed as a starter, I see Wenger using Walcott in midfield somewhere.

How is Walcott too young? Rotting on the bench is he?

Wenger seems to think so, why he hasnt played him yet I dont know :-S

If Henry goes, do you see Wenger resting the goal scoring responsibilities on a 16/17 year old next season? I dont.

What about Reyes and Walcott up front. Don't see anything wrong with that.

I'd love to see Liverpool vs Arsenal but they may not even make it through this round, especially Liverpool.

I wouldn't mind if AC Milan or Barcelona won because they're both immense teams. Well a lot of them are now, but I feel they're two of the best. (I hate Chelsea so they get no mention, I actually want Barcelona to beat them!)

Walcott will be used as a RW for now and will be pushed upfront once Henry leaves/retires. Age isn't an issue, its just that Wenger is waiting for the right time to bring him on (i.e. when we are winning comfortably and the game isn't rough with tackles flying in all over the place). We dont need anymore strikers FFS. If anything we have too many. Lupoli looked good when he came on vs B'burn and made a nice run (more than Henry did all game).

In the summer I expect a defensive and midfield overhaul regardless of whether Henry leaves or not.

I'd rather see VP and reyes upfront myself. Those 2 looked good when they played together upfront towards the end of last season when Henry was injured.

Differnece is.. Your rotting SWP on the bench because he has a chance of a england squad place.
Walcott doesnt even have a professional contract yet.

If SWP is good enough he'd play. This is what happens when you have a good player in a mediocre team who joins a bunch of superstars. They look average unless they improve in training which SWP is eventually showing. Funny, he's had a fair crack of the whip early on the season and was pretty rubbish so he was dropped accordingly. Yet I do not hear any sympathy for other Chelsea players who are apparently rotting on the bench such as Glen Johnson and Jonas Elmer etc.

How's Scott Carson doing? How many minutes has he played?

You sure about that statement. Do you want to rethink what you just said? If that is to be taken as true, how comes whenever he has played at international level he has still shined?

A question of style has to be considered though.

We'll see what Liverpool win this year. Despite all the hype there's no guarentee they'll win anything....

    2006 trophy cabinet:

    Man Utd 1 - 0 Liverpool

We're waiting for you to do something, surely from all the hype about being one of the best teams in the world you'd win something.

Yeh, I think it has more to do with the fact that he didn't fit into your style of play when he 1st arrived and has needed to adjust. Its got nothing to do with his ability. We all know what he can do.

Was scott carson bought with the promise of him having regular first team football? He knows he is back up. He isnt ready for first team football yet, but SWP is. Thats the difference once more.

He cracks me up. A top keeper but a complete idiot. But then again Savage is one of the biggest idiots in football. It looked as if he tried to dive to get a penalty in that incident. Reid didnt do anything though.
Dived to get a penalty? He went for a 50:50 ball by sticking a foot out and then got straight back up and didnt appeal to the referee... nobody did for that matter! Lehmann was the only one who reacted to the whole incident. :hmmm:

He was going for the 50-50 and tried to get something on the ball and then dived over. Obviously Jens got to the ball first so it wasnt worth appealing cos it wasnt going to be given

In which case it cant be classed as a diving attempt to win a penalty then can it surely...

He put his foot on the ball which suddenly stopped, the change in momentum took him over...

He may cheat at times but that was not one, it was a 50 50 which both had a right to go for, players go over like that all the time...
