I hope Didier Drogba's wife is better looking than himself. :p: Never seen her beofre, should have taken a bit more notice on the Premiership winning parade Chelsea did.

He was their best striker according to some stats I read - highest goal to minutes played ratio or something.

So whats your opinion on him, is he a good or bad manager?

Nearly won Leeds the European Cup only for them to suffer the agony of out of control debts and them to be Relegated.

Took Aston Villa to 6th on a shoe string Budget in his first year there only to manage just 10th a year later now struggling in the bottom half.

I think he'd do well with a club with serious cash. (newcastle: bottomless pit of funds)

anyone think he's good enough for the newcastle job??

I think the main problem is that he has such a negative outlook on everything.
He is always (inadvertantly, I presume) belittling his team and to me, that is not the sign of someone who is good at motivating and managing players.

I do believe he is a lovely and sincere person, though.

Wasn't David Becham paid for in full 30 minutes into his transfer?

Anyway - changing of bosses hasn't helped. Del Bosque should have remained put as should Makelele.

Zidane is past it as is Carlos. Figo has left as well but Beckham is playing well for them, but they just don't have the foward to treat his fine crosses.

Should of hung on to Owen I daren't say :p:

At least McManaman can live it up as being in one of the greatest sides ever to exist. He fitted in perfectly and scored some sensational goals as well. But that was a team.

He's average IMO even though I managed to celebrate with him some years back after achieving Managers player of the year. - No bias there!

Anyhow, reason why I say that is because I believe the success at Leeds was mostly down to Graham and bringing in the fine young crop of stars. O'Leary simply took over after Graham's departure to Tottenham.

But in all fairness, it must be difficult for any manager to have a chairman such as Doug Ellis.

To be honest, with Bally at the helm, the lads are in good hands.

But the fans want Murrey's head on a plate and receiving the peace offering of Ball will not change that.

O Leary gave did the Leeds salute when Villa came to ours on boxing day one time which I thought was very sweet.

I hate Doug Ellis. Isn't it actually true that most of the Villa fans can't bare the man either?

The only decent change this year was sacking Sousness!

McCarthy was great and I agree with all who state it was stupid to let him go at this stage of the season. The board were dissapointed, but lets face it, their living in cloud cuckoo land if they feel they can reach mid table with that squad!

Harry Redknapp I also like, and if his signings don't start paying off, its retirement for him. That would be sad for the premiership.

I once got Championship Manager because I was basically talked into and it was crap. Football games are rubbish and this was no exception. Newcastle wouldn't let me buy Woodgate off them and the games were so boring, little dots running around the screen. Crap!

The Doug Ellis OUT campaign has to be lasting longer than the greenpeace against nuclear activity campaign. He's so bloody stubborn. At least he's trying to sell
