I've not really been to many as I can't really get to away games, so only Old Trafford however many times and the one visit to the Reebok.

Hahahaha cider! Chiara, why not support your local team instead or support a Football League club - much better atmosphere than yer Premiership prawn sandwich eating brigade.

GOOOOOOOOOING DOWN. GOING DOWN GOING DOWN GOIN DOWN!

Unfortunately, there aren't any other Hammers on here because very few of them are able to use computers. They probably flog it down Dagenham Market for another gold sovereign, clapped out Escort for their wife/cousin for their or a years supply of corned beef...

Well considering the hostile reaction I was greeted with from Chelseababe and others when I first arrived on TSR suggesting this idea, I am quite suprised at how its turned out and naturally happy. I thought such a big sport as Football simply cannot be condensed into a single thread where 20 different people are trying to communicate at the same time and with other sports hardly getting a look in but now they'll get their spotlight in the main forum.

    Thanks

As a Villa supporter judging by tonights performance you'll easily stay up. I don't think there's any question of you going down to be honest. Comfortable upper section of bottom half; 13th/14th. I think Villa are in more chance of gettin relegated!!!

I remember I was going up to a Northern away game, I think it was Bury last year and at a service station along the M6 were LOADS of people in Man Utd shirts also coming from London along with the Fulham fans who were travelling away!

esx has got a point - hardly any Man U fans who actually live in Manchester (I know theres about 2 on here and well done to them)

LOL. Even then they may live closer to Man City, Salford, or Northwich Victoria. Can't remember any other football teams in Manchester.

i remember a time a few years ago when there was really bad weather on a premiership games day, roads blocked with snow etc

united had almost full attendance while chelsea had a half-empty ground (this was before they became chelski)

i dont deny that united have a lot of fans overseas - so do liverpool due to their success in the 80's and now chelsea - but they also have a lot of local fans. what about the thousands who came to the many victory parades throughout the years? i wish someone would do an official census of the manchester population so this myth can be put to rest once and for all

    *steps down off soapbox*

To most people, Irish and Welsh football doesn't exist, perhaps even the SPL with the dominance of the Old Firm, but to the supporters it does. Northern Ireland's league is the Irish League, and after the win midweek I though you might like tO know a little about our wee country's football heritage. Fans of lower league teams can relate to the problems of low attendance and financial trouble, problems that don't arise with premiership clubs!

RECSC is our supporters club link. Coleraine FC!
