Lemsip is good for flu/colds...or Beechams capsules. Have lots of water and keep warm, maybe stay lying down if you feel faint and have a nap. Hope you feel better  Being ill is indeed very crap.

Umm, guess I am and I was up until 3.30 this morning rowing over the phone with my parents. Just DON'T ask. And I couldn't sleep thinking about thursday. Hot chocolate has too many calories :frown:

for once take your eyes off the back of the packet and calm down. :p: calories are natural short-term antidepressants

You're forgetting he's not 'allowed' to eat more than 500 calories a day.

Ummm you're right  *salivates for hot chocolate, gets brother to make some for me*

If my 'rents start again today I will scream at them. My nerves are in too fragile a state :frown:

If you're ill then having a low calorie diet is not a good idea. It will just **** up your immune system even more.

well a friend of mine... did his "just orange juices diet" and he gets down... he just drinks water.. and went he feels dizzy or with headaches or down and stuff he takes an orange juice with A LOT of sugar... strange diet BUT IT WORKS FOR HIM!

Just make sure you are not alone in case you faint and have to get into hospital or something! (hope this doesnt happen!)

i was like that the other day, but it just went away the next... so not sure what to suggest really. Chocolate is normally good though. I ate 16 bars of chocolate the next day, maybe that's why I didn't feel bad anymore :p:

well the weight that he has lost as well might be water and muscles,it's too dangerous, and he'll gain it all back once he starts eating regular again

and r_r,! time a week wont make you gain weight, everyweek you should eat something free, you gain weight because your body got used to low calorie intake so any extra bite might make you gain weight, your immune system might be messed up,mm why don't you have a green tea,a milk with some nescafee ,and a chocolate bar and whatever weight you have gained due to that (chocolate) can be lost the next week after you get well, get loads of orange juice and vitamen C and fruits ,banana home milkshake might be good with a salad and a grilled vegtables and chicken breast:wink:

 Men. And even worse, men on diets  :p:

Have some options hot choc (only 40 cals a cup), snuggle up in front of the tv with a duvet and take some ibuprofen and paracetamol and resign yourself to a lazy Sunday watching football

Football?

I have had a hot bath and eaten a fat ass lunch [a WHOLE tub of fresh carrot and coriander soup], no bread of course that would be just greedy! I feel better but still horrid so I shall take your advice Lauren and perhaps snuggle up on the sofa, maybe to Sex and the City though, not football

Im also currently feeling quite ill, but i think its probably cos i didnt sleep much last night. An earlish night and some Asprin should do the trick. Sleeping during the day means i cant sleep at night, so the problem gets worse.

500 calories a day???? wtf dont u need like at least 2000 or something to be healthy. I'm going to be having words with you come thursday matey. Hope you feel better soon i recommend chick flicks, soup, orange juice and rest! xx

Make sure you get some vits into you whilst on the diet too, plenty of zinc and vit c tablets will help build up your immune system and hopefully stop it from happening again. Kelp capsules by the way are good for boosting the metabolic system.

Isn't fat esential in the release of some vitamins? If you're starving yourself of any fat then maybe those vitamins aren't getting into your system (whether you're getting the vitamins from your food or suppliments).

Ahhhh dude i think i have just the diagnosis. I think you might have an ear wax build up, maybe you need your ears surringed. I had exactly the same thing, light headedness, feeling i was gonna faint, screws up your balance.

Could be that, i think it just could be.
