lol. It's A-Levels rather than GCSEs where points scores need to be looked at - you can get the same points score with 2 good grades, or 4 crap ones + Key Skills etc.

ucas points wise, i have 650. put that in your pipe and smoke it maskall.

Have a play around with this. 7As at A level will give you 840 points. Not sure if you can count General Studies though, as it isn't offered. Have to do useless Key Skills instead (which is fairly pointless as no unis that I'm applying to care about it. :frown: )

You still have to do Key Skills? Didn't the schools realise how irrelevant it was?

Potentially, through the UCAS thing I could get (AS +A2):

750-780

Depending on: (5A AS, 4A A2) to (4A 1BAS, 3A 1BA2)

Well, I refuse to go to the lessons for it. Just handed in my physics project for the IT coursework and can't be bothered with the communications one (isn't a level two worth an A*-C grade in English, which I've already got? ) I cant help feeling that it's a complete waste of my time though.

I've never seen an offer which is 500 points given out. In my experience, UCAS tarriffs are used for lower offers. If you apply to universities where the entry requirements are higher, you are far more likely to get a three grade offer (eg. AAB, ABB, BBC...)
