Thee day before we receive them I believe. The results have already been printed off though. As when I received my GCSE results last year, on the slip at the bottom the date was the week before we got them.

I thought it was one day before results day. According to my summary sheet for AS, the sheet says 'printed on the 17th August'. Yes, the teachers can see the results before us.

I just based my predictions on my GCSE results slip, which said Printed 18th August 2004.

In some cases somewhere though, there must be people whose teacher is their mum or dad. In this case surely your mum or dad would find out your result early and surely they would tell you (if you swore to keep it secret etc)?

One of the boys in my French class is the son of one of our teachers. I wonder if she'll tell him his result? I know they're not allowed to, but it would be really hard not to, especially if you saw your child getting really worried and you knew they'd done well.

In most schools it is the exams officer who is able to download the info the day/ evening before BUT (in my school's case) they only share that info with the head or deputy and not to all members of staff.....
