Predicament watch

    Right, i have a safe, it's made of solid steel and has a 8 digit keypad lock thingy, i went on holiday and forgot the bloody password, but it wasnt all bad because i had a key which i could use to open it and change the password, but i put the key in and it got stuck, now i cant get it out

    My wallet is in there and everything, now wtf do i do :mad:

    if its not too big, take it to a locksmith and get them to open it.

    If the key got stuck it could be treated as a fault. If the locksmith can't do it see if you can get the stuff out under warranty.

    yeh, a locksmith would do it.

    jackhammer... :banghead:
    lava pit... :evil:
    bulldozer... :bike:
    drop it from great height... :trytofly:
    sandpaper... :hmmmm:
    use stain remover on it... :yy:
    let the martians have a go at opening it... :wtf?:

    thats providing the batteries last

    what do you mean by stuck anyway? stuck as in doesnt turn? you could always force it open and replace it if its a cheap type.

    and if youve bolted it down, youll have to take the safe and the floor to the locksmith :rolleyes:

    and if the locksmith asks for payment, tell him he wont get paid unless its opened, since thats where the money is

    The buggar wont pull out the keyhole, nor will it turn. Luckily it isnt bolted to the wall, its just in a cupboard in my desk. And yes i'll be taking to the locksmiths, providing i get a ride down there, im not walking.

    have you tried WD40 on it? try turning the key and pushing inwards. the sometimes stick. altho i assume youve already done that part
