Oh no I love them all, I just love Oxford/UCL slightly more than I love the others
To be honest though, I'd gladly accept an offer from any of those...
Good luck for your LNAT - don't do what I did and stress too much about it, it really is true when they say that doing loads of preparation doesn't help that much
Ah fair enought then I liked UCL too, just not sure about accommodation. The course sounded good though. I'm not sure if it's the same for German but at King's for French you get to spend two years in France so I really liked the sound of that But I'm the same, one offer would be a godsend
Thanks, I've done one practice test so far, just keeping my fingers crossed!
Hey guys just checking have many of you received acknowledgements from Oxford yet? I haven't so far and just curious to know if thats the same with everyone

I got one literally ive minutes ago, im wondering if its because i sat my LNAT today, so maybe they only send them once you've sat the test?
Got an acknowledgement from Hertford, not that it means anything. :L
(Oh and I sat my LNAT end of September, so I just think it's the colleges take different times. Plus the email mentions reminding you to sit the LNAT. So I doubt it's that.)
Also, got my acknowledgement today, St Edmund Hall.
Good allocation! Very convenient for the Law Bod, no excuse for missing any 9am lectures ... I was taught by one of their law tutors for one module - from what I saw going in and out, it's a nice College.

Look, they have 9 places.
I'm not hopeful.
I'd love to even be asked to interview, I think I'd pretty much be satisfied with that, but from what I've seen of the location and the quad on the internet, it looks very beautiful.

9 places is, I think, above average; I completely understand you don't want to get your hopes up for being interviewed, but I think an allocation to SEH from an open application is a good result.

Ah, I had only looked at the larger college's numbers so that have been the origin of my incorrect assumption.
Thank you, I'm quite sure if I was to be accepted there, I'd love it, it does look very good from what I've read.

I got mine today, I'm St Edmund Hall as well. At risk of sounding stupid, people with what sort of grades (GCSE, AS and predicted) and LNAT scores got interviews previously? Just wondering..
And 9 places? waa haha, good job Oxford's not my first choice then

Hello.
I have no clue. I have no intention to research it either.
I'm just going to try and nail my LNAT (as I'm a post A-level applicant) go to my college's mock interview night, continue reading books on Law (bought a book on different legal theories today which looks awesome ) and just leave it at that.
It's not your first choice? Where is then? Nowhere else is even comparable in the UK apart from Cambridge is it? At least it isn't to me, LSE can pretend all it wants, but it's not fooling me.

Ah I did my LNAT a few weeks back, and very unsure of how well I did!
no, Kings College is my first choice, followed by (in this order) Exeter, Bristol, Oxford, Kent. Sounds mad but all, bar Kent, are very good universities for Law, and since I think I would enjoy being at Kings, Exeter and Bristol more than Oxford... I know its obvs the best in the country but I'd much rather spend 3 years of my life in a place I enjoy
And besides, I'm 30 mins from Oxford...waaay to close!

Fair enough
Applying this year to Kings is a good move, (assuming you're accepted) you'll be studying in Somerset House, which looks amazing, AND, you miss out the horrible fee increases, I might apply for those reasons, but I'm unsure about it or Nottingham or Leeds/Lancaster.
Kent's not terrible for Law either, let's be fair.
